Contact the Friends of Wake Soil and Water Conservation District if you would like to get involved! You can help out in locally lead conservation work, or right here in your community! You can also check out our ‘Upcoming Events’ page for upcoming volunteer opportunities and event details.

A few additional examples of how you can get involved include:
- Volunteering with Wake County Big Sweep litter cleanups
- Joining the Voluntary Agricultural District Advisory Committee
- Volunteering at the Wake Soil and Water Conservation office
- Attending the Wake Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors Meetings (Schedule is posted on the District website).
- Serving on any of the following Board Committees:
- Keeping the Farm Workshop
- Farm and Food Council
- Outreach and Communication
