Hello Big Sweep Volunteers and Enthusiasts across Wake County!

This month we have a special summer cleanup for families and people of all ages!

CANOES for a CAUSE
Lake Wheeler Park in Raleigh
Sat., July 20, 2013

1:00pm-4:00pm = Litter cleanup

4:00pm-6:30pm = Volunteer Appreciation Party
Free fish fry; and Leinenkugel craft beer for those 21 and older.

Volunteers are needed to clean on foot and on the water.

Volunteers can bring their own boats or use Lake Wheeler’s boats without launching or rental charge.

Gloves and all supplies will be provided.

All volunteers must sign a Liability Release (parents must sign for those 18 and under):

Canoes for a Cause has multi-state roots, but this event is the first in North Carolina.
